The Triad Minority & Women's Business Expo Awards Gala will provide an opportunity to celebrate the triads best minority and women-owned businesses. It is also a time to acknowledge both the importance and the powerful impact that minority-owned businesses have on our communities and the local economy. Award categories include: Business of the Year, Nonprofit Organization of the Year, Newcomer Award, the Spotlight Award, the Kidz Biz Award, the Pioneer Award, Enterprising Woman of the Year, Corporate Spotlight, Business Advocate of the year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Each Triad city will have winners from each category.
The 2024 Awards Gala will be live in-person at the Embassy Suites Gallery Ballroom located at 460 North Cherry Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101
When: August 23, 2024 - 7:00 PM
Red Carpet walk begins at 6:30 PM
Where: Embassy Suites Gallery Ballroom
Cost: $75 per person
Table: $600 (Sits eight people)

Recognizes a non-profit organization that has made a difference in the communities served by fostering positive social change.
Recognizes a women in business who are successful leaders, contribute to the community through service, and who mentor/give back to other women or girls.
Recognizes young innovative minds who have successfully started a business or implemented a non-profit idea.
Recognizes a business that is less than two-years old but has blossomed and excelled within the last year.
Recognizes an up & coming business that is making a difference
Recognizes an individual who support and advocates for minority and women-owned businesses.
Recognizes a coroporate entity/ organization that is present and making a difference .
Recognizes and honors a distinguished individual or business that has demonstrated longevity, been a staple in the community, and who has made significant contributions.
Recognizes a minority business that has successfully demonstrated community involvement, exceptional customer service, and has contributed to the economic growth, stability and improvement of the area served. The Award is named after Dr. Robert J. Brown in High Point; Dr. Eunice M. Dudley in Greensboro; and Dr. Vivian H. Burke in Winston-Salem
Recognizes an individual who, during their lifetimes, have gone above and beyond and who have made a significant contribution in the area of business and entrepreneurship.
